Note: We regret that we are currently not able to accept new patient registrations. We have been forced to take this unprecedented step in order to be better able to service the patients already registered. We hope to be able to open up to new patients later in the year.
COVID-19 Update 02/02/2022
Though more general Covid restrictions have been lifted in England, the health service still continues to maintain additional infection prevention and control procedures. This is to ensure that we can see all patients needing treatment, including those who are vulnerable and in need of extra precautions.
We will therefore continue to ask patients to wear masks, as well as limit patient time and numbers in the waiting room. We will also continue our thorough disinfection of entire surgeries between patients.
Our focus will remain on emergency appointments and necessary treatments, including hygiene treatments. When making a booking for a routine appointment, your appointment time may be later in the year than you expected.
Patients with dental emergencies should call the surgery on 01276 472245 where our reception staff will assist. Out of hours (including weekends) patients should contact 111.
For everybody's safety we ask patients to:
- Complete medical history and other forms online before coming to the surgery
- Check in by the front door and then wait outside until called; our reception staff will be assisting you
- Attend your appointment unaccompanied, with the exception of minors or patients with carers
- Pay in advance or by card on the day
We are currently experiencing very high pressure on appointment times and we are fully booked every day. We therefore ask you to give us a minimum of 48 hours notice if you need to change your appointment.
Patients must have an appointment before coming to the practice. Please call us on 01276 472245 for advice.
We regret that we won't be able to see patients showing any symptoms of COVID-19 such as a temperature or a cough.
We strongly recommend that patients in the high-risk groups for developing complications from coronavirus delay non-essential dental treatment. To find out whether you are in a high or very high-risk group please see the link here.
